Ther's a webpage kicking around somewhere with the co-ordinates and the date of the crash along with the same details or a whole host of wrecks in Greenland. I thaought initially it was the jet F15 but when the date turned out to be a bit too early my thoughts were Reporter.

That is a amazing eye opening list. Atleast 7 B-17s. Compared to recovering in PNG atleast in greenland there would seem to be les politics and bugs :D
We really need to find a way setup and support a foundation that would recover and restores these and other war relics. Man oh Man

I'm one still stuck with Dial Up and cannot google earth anything. Can someone find this "intact" Northop F-15 using google earth? At least there won't be any jungle obscuring it.

the reporter went down in 64......

I looked on google earth, but the resolution isnt good enough to see a bare metal plane on the ice...

I just googled earth'ed it, and it looks like it's on a mountain with the glacier flowing about a mile from there...
