They were dropping post-war survival supplies in the Netherlands if I recall. Food, medical supplies etc.

Operations Manna and Chowhound were conducted in May 1945, before the end of the war, and involved the RAF and USAAF, as Mark says, dropping relief supplies to Dutch civilians with the tacit approval of the occupying Germans
