According to this post the flying Canadian Mossie has a new owner . And it’s in Canada.

Cool day for the Calgary Mosquito Society. With the sale of Mosquito VR796 in Vancouver, we 'inherited' some goodies. Enough so as to require a 53' flatdeck! 'Props' to our VP Jack McWilliam for managing this deal. Stay turned for exciting details of what we got!

Officially announced. She's going to stay in BC and live with the Hawker Tempest Mk II currently being restored by KF Aerospace.

For future reference, this is C-FGXW, formerly N173RD and before that C-FGXW / CF-GXW / CF-TEG / KG769 / 43-48052, cn 25313/13868.
One I haven't photographed yet, and so a reason to return to Kelowna (as if the Mosquito and the Tempest weren't reason enough ).
