Nice pic. What's the one nearest the camera (left hand side)? It looks like an Me 109 cockpit frame, but there isn't the razor back, for lack of a better term. Pretty sure there aren't any bubble canopy 109s around, right? So what am I missing?

Looks like mebbee an economic use of storage space. Bf-109 on the front and a rear fuse from somethin' else in the back. pop2

Looks to me like its 109 with just the rear fuse corroded away, the Fury looks awesome as do the ‘51 fuselages!!

I agree...initially the "roundness" of the rear fuse threw me off, but I think it has collapsed to that shape. I missed the distinctive 109 stacked flanged-ring sections.

Interesting details in the link.
Pacific Fighters is still working on the "...fuselage and control surfaces" of the aircraft.
So does anyone know if that means Fagen will be doing the rest of the work...wings, engine, systems, final assembly, flight testing, etc?

Or are they just letting Pacific finish their already started work and will be selling the aircraft as a project, to be completed to the new owner's specifications at a shop he/she chooses (probably Fagen).

Also, this is a question I have had for awhile and since the Fagen link mentions the issue.. and I really don't want to dredge up the "it's not real Mustang because it has been rebuilt" discusion, but does an aircraft with a combat history...even if it is largely a new aircraft...being a price premium in the warbird market?
