The Mid Atlantic Air Museum recently completed a new hangar at there expanding headquarters at the Reading Airport in Reading, PA.

Any updates on MAAM's other expansion projects? WWII Control tower? Additional Hangar space to house the entire collection? etc

I meant to get a picture of it during WWII weekend but I was distracted, lol.
It was tough to get a clear view of it with all the airshow activity going on. From what I could tell it was externally complete. According to the last newsletter I received they said work was continuing on the interior finishing and fit out. They also built a sizable storage space next to the new hanger.

The hanger wasn't open at WWII Weekend,
There were several aircraft spotted in front of it but the hanger doors were closed and it didn't seem like construction was complete around the sides and back
I'm glad to see it's finally being built, it was a longstanding goal to have a hanger for display and one primarily for restoration and maintenance

I visited MAAM for the first time two weeks ago, and the tour guide we had said that the new hangar was essentially finished but they were waiting for a certificate of occupancy or something similar before they were allowed to use it.

After this year's WWII weekend show, anyone get any good shots of the new(ish) hangar? Are they using it yet?

When I visited in November a docent told me it was in use for storage but not ready to be opened to the public. Most recent update I heard was that they are raising funds to put asphalt in front of the hangar door. At WWII Weekend the area in front of the door was still grass.
