This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

It would be great if they could get the F3F annualled and flying in the cat formation. It would be the first time in history to have five different Grumman piston fighter types in formation.

I think you meant "first time since Legends 2001", right?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh memories.... and I went from Legends to Oshkosh for my only visit (so far) just a couple of weeks later. I miss Legends and I really miss that Tigercat.

C-47 N33VW can be added to the list.
Many of you will remember this craft as "Mr. C It's Tuesday" with Cavanaugh. She's presently getting the treatment at John Mosely's 360 Coatings, her new operator.
I believe they're planning to park in vintage for the week.

I'm happy say that this Warbird Kid and Warbird Dad are going to Oshkosh! This will be the first time either of us have ever visited "The Big One", and we are getting super stoked! We're flying into Milwaukee on Thursday, we'll be at the show Friday-Sunday, and flying back out Monday from Milwaukee again. Sunday were planning on spending some time over at the EAA Museum to check it out.

You're arriving late for the party Chris.
Make sure you go to the night air show and spend a little time at the seabase...

Make sure you see as much as possible Friday morning as a lot of stuff will have already left or be leaving by then. Be there when the gates open and GO GO GO.

Ditto that. If it's warbirds you seek, get up to the north end early and immerse yourselves.

The key days to attend if you get multiple days up there...Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. That way you get the best of the warbirds, you have time to visit the sea plane base...and you get a night show.

Bruce Winter’s Bf109-G6 arrived Oshkosh yesterday, and is resting in the Weeks Hangar. Will be in WB in Review (“along with the Erickson ME-109”) on 27 July at 1PM CDT.
