This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

New Website: Warbird Philosophy

Thu Feb 09, 2023 11:15 pm

I am pleased to announce that I have a personal website: Warbird Philosophy.

The focus is twofold. The first is in-depth, scholarly discussions of topics related to military aviation history. It is the source of the Warbird Philosophy name, which is, in turn, a combination of two of my personal interests. At the moment, there is only a single page in this category, but I eventually plan on adding more. The second is a collection of reference lists - a good portion of which was taken directly from WIX threads. In particular, the page I am most proud of is the list of Aviation Archives.

It is far from finished, but being a bit of a perfectionist has made me procrastinate long enough. To that end, I am always open to any and all constructive criticism, so please feel free to let me know if you have any comments and where I can improve. I can't promise I'll incorporate your suggestion, but I will definitely consider it.

I have bookmarked it, thanks! Interesting use of the Wiki format, I suspect it will confuse some visitors, but it works well for what you want to do with it.

Are you looking for contributors, wiki style, or is this a personal project?

I guess I need to apologize. My website generated so much interest that the extra traffic brought down WIX!

This is just a personal project. I addressed the subject in a bit more detail on the about page.
