I was working in Corpus several years ago and came across a house that had a prop driven warbrid sitting behind it, visible from the road. I don't remember what it was. The house is located near the corner of Rodd Field Rd and Wooldridge Rd. Anyone know about the aircraft?
Thanks,
Craig

I checked it out on Google Maps, and there appears to be a vaguely TBM like aircraft parked behind a house, along with what seems to be an A7 type airframe as well; however, the map wouldn't zoom in very close, so who knows. Google Earth may yeild better results though.

good luck

It looks like the TBM looking thing is gone, but the jet is still there. Hunter?

If you look at the pile of parts from a few different angles, it looks like T-33 stuff. I am assuming that there may be some rebuilding of some sort going on inside the barn/hangar looking building?

Look at the base itself. There is a T-28 in front of the O Club. A PBY, TBM TA-4 and a T-2 are also on display. There may be more but that's all I can remember.

Yeah, looks like it's gone. Wish I'd taken a photo when I saw it about 6-7 years ago.
