The Zebra mussel infestation in the great lakes is really evident in the engine picture. I hope more aircraft are found and recovered before it gets worse.

May I point out that there are still several Navy aircraft out there (Lake Michigan) including Wildcats, Dauntless' and TBF Avengers, some with combat history. The Navy changed their policy regarding selling obsolete aircraft to the public. Why can't we get a movement to retrieve these aircraft? P-51 projects are nice but what about a few more of these for the restorers? Sold to the public!
