Friday afternoon I walked out of the house to hear Gunfighter in the area. Even though I didn't see her, it was a nice surprise...

Nice thread idea.

Did you get any good pics inside Ready4Duty? They did a major cockpit makeover as part of the D-Day trip, but they've not really shown pics in their socials. I'm interested in what they've done to update the cockpit.

New engine monitor display from what I've been told, along with several other instrument replacements.

I'd love to go visit, but I'm in Houston now, so kinda not where I can go visit like I used to, although it'd be nice to see everyone again. Life's kept me too far away from warbirds for too long.

That's what I heard as well, but I was interested in seeing what kind of engine monitor they went with. Most of the DC-3's I'm aware of don't have anything fancy up front, so I'm interested in what solution they've gone with as it would be nice if it's something that could be rolled out into the larger big radial fleet since it would likely be very useful, especially if 100UL or its equivalent in the near future.

At the Agather Hangar yesterday to accomplish more of our annual pilot re-qualification checkrides. The weather wasn't great with low ceilings for the entire morning, so we were only able to accomplish one flight in the afternoon. A trip up to GVT and back meant we were able to complete two SIC checkrides in that one outing.

Work on the B-24 has been paused to focus on getting the Superfortress ready to start the Airpower Tour late next week.
