The CAF's R4D "Ready For Duty" departed KLNC Lancaster yesterday to start her "Navy to Normandy" tour and you can follow her on FlightAware with the tail number N-151ZE. There are other links to follow as well like Facebook, etc. The wing is selling decals, patches and challenge coins in a set. Fly Safe.

I received my souvenirs today from The Navy to Normandy tour and they are really nice. The challenge coin is a must for us who collect them.

The secret with FB is just take in the info you want and don't engage with the keyboard warriors. There are hundreds of aviation/modeling/historical FB groups in my bookmarks and I don't I've posted on more than 4-5.

I noticed they were heading for the Hudson Corridor on Friday, but then they turned around and did an approach into Danbury and then flew back to OXC.

Latest on the socials was the right engine was being changed out with help from Tunison Foundation but they still plan to be in Europe for D-Day

There seems to be lots of folks that avoid Facebook entirely, but they are missing out on some fantastic special interest/historic pages. I belong to several from hiking, modeling, aviation (B-36, B-58, WWII.,..) specific vehicle groups (great way to learn common problems and maintenance tips). These special interest groups are something that Facebook is very good for- don't be afraid

I agree with you, but for many people now instant posting on social media like FB and Instawhotzit etc., using their phone is all they are interested in. Using a laptop or such to view older tech forum's is not what people want to do.
Even the forum site that are easily accessible on a phone can be a hard read now, as you can tell when people are using their phones, in posts devoid of punctuations, correct use of case, and often are meaningless drivel as they are posting with predictive text enabled and can't be bothered to check that they've actually selected the right word.....
