Any word on any new restoration activity going on with ex-Allen FHCAM projects?

I don't expect any to be completed in 2025.

Curious also!

the 262 and 190 were really close to flight!

The Allen 190 has been flying for years, Collings Foundation 190 was running, but the engine is off and back at the rebuilders for some reason

Judging solely off recent photos (which can be deceiving), the Me 262 and Ju 87 look exactly the same as when I visited in July 2023.

Matt...
Who owns them?

Also, did the B-17 sell, or is it owned by Walton with the rest of the collection?

As far as I know, Walton/FHCAM/whatever they are calling themselves now still own the 262 and Stuka. I do not know about the B-17, but they had a tail turret displayed in the museum when I was there. I visited not long after they reopened and the staff and docents didn't have a lot of information on plans for the collection. That may have been due to the fact that they'd just reopened. Here's what the 262 and Stuka looked like as of July 2023.

There has always seemed to be an air of mystery around this collection, no matter who has owned it. I know they have done engine runs on other aircraft in the collection in the last year, but I haven't seen any definitive statements anywhere regarding plans to fly anything.

Side note: didn't mean my comment about the aircraft looking the same as critical, so I hope it didn't come across that way.
