A few additional bits of info:

This was TB-26B s/n 44-34626 of the Mitchel AFB-based 2nd Tow Sqn, which suffered and engine failure on take-off. It was transferred to the 2500th Air Base Wing at Mitchel AFB on 4 October for repair and returned to service with the 2nd Tow Sqn on 18 April 1956; it was written off following another accident on 29Oct56.

TB-25J s/n 44-30686 of Mitchel AFB-based 2500th Air Base Wing was belly-landed just south of the base on 25May53 following engine failure; it was recommended for reclamation the following day and dropped from the Air Force inventory on 09Sep54.

C-46D s/n 44-77459 of the 374th Troop Carrier Wing suffered an engine failure at Tachikawa on 16Aug51; it was recommended for salvage on 21Aug51 and dropped from the inventory on 04Oct51, presumed scrapped.

TB-25J 44-31013 of the 3575th PTW, Vance AFB suffered a bird strike 20 miles east of Covington OK on 15Oct51; it was transferred to the Mobile AMA at Brookley AFB for repair and returned to service with the 3500th PTW at Reese AFB. It was retired to Davis Monthan on 14Oct58 and authorised for reclamation there on 29Jun60.

TB-25J 44-30978 of the 3575th PTW, Vance AFB suffered a landing accident at Vance on 10Sep51; it was recommended for reclamation and authorised for scrapping on 16Jan52. It was struck off the Air Force inventory on 19Feb52. It seems strange that the damage to this one appears at first glance to be less severe than 44-31013 above, yet was deemed to be beyond economical repair.
