Fagen Fighters is putting on a show next month that promises to be pretty exciting. On their list of committed aircraft they've got a pair of SBDs(one being their new A-24) a pair of Helldivers, a pair of Hellcats, 3 FM-2s, a Bearcat, plus Tim Savage's TBM and Skyraider plus others. Hellcat ace Don McPherson will be there. I've been looking forward to this one for a while now.

Sounds like fun.
And they're well placed in case the IJN makes a move against Duluth.

The committed aircraft list on their site is solid, and their initial "flyer" for the event also listed a Tigercat and Duck (along with a few others types that aren't on the site ie Catalina, Goose, etc.). I'm 50/50 committed to going, but will for sure send it if the Tigercat and Duck are added to the official list.

The Duck is a scratch, but the Erickson Hellcat and Bearcat just landed. 3 flying Hellcats, oh my...

I keep seeing on the schedule Hellcats, Bearcats etc, but they lost the Dauntless as singular. Is the CAF bird still coming?

The CAF SBD arrived in Granite last night and it's my understanding that Ron's A-24 needs some work before it will be flown again. It is at the Museum too.

Looks like more Navy planes than advertised according to some accounts and possibly the attached video. Nice turnout. And giving Minnesota a taste of Chino out here.
2 Bearcats?
2 Avengers?

Anyone know whether the Fagen Hellcat is currently airworthy? Haven’t seen much regarding it being airborne lately. I recall reading that the Fagen F6F and SB2C were going to fly a photo shoot a few months back.

Job Savage just posted a pic of the Fagen Hellcat undergoing maintenance with their P51 this weekend at Granite. Too bad it wasn't pulled out for the group pics. So no, it's not airworthy at the moment.

Too bad.... A lost opportunity for some Midwest photographers. I had a feeling the Fagen F6F was having something done to it.

So glad the Crews and Volunteers went on with the show after Mother Nature made things very difficult for them.
