Yet another Captured P-40 ...

... This one a Captured P-40K xxx119 with everything forward of the firewall being removed.

Caption states: "P-40K from the 76th FS, 51st FG in Kweilin, China 30 July 1945. Repatriated after Chinese forces reoccupy the city.

It looks like they made an effort to make it look like it has a radial, like most Japanese aircraft.

I wonder if maybe it's not a P-40K? There are two options for -119; one later to Brazil and the other written off with the RAF in North Africa.

I think the S/N has been overpainted, and #119 is the plane ID within the squadron, like other 51st FG planes.
