FRom what I am reading, you need to have Windows Vista to enable all the great features...and that means basically buying a newer PC because Windows Vista is probably a huge memoery hog and will tax the crap out of your CPU and Graphics card. Oh well, just another excuse for me to buy a new one and put it together.

Vista, 64bit operating system. (XP is a 32 bit operating system)
Vista, built to take advantage of AMD's 64 bit processor. (will run on pentium processors, but not nearly as fast)

When they get the bugs out of it, it will make your current PC seem like a 486 machine compared to your current XP machine.

I was able to download. Not really impressed with the demo of course it is a DEMO.

Water was cool, that is about it....took too long to load, and I even have a high end machine....I hate doing demos, will wait for the real version to come out!

Thanks

They are up to their old tricks again... The got it right with FS2004 and only released one version, but now we're back to two again... I'll be picking up a copy of FSX when I get a new system, my current one is on its last legs.
