Sergei Sikorsky passed away on Thursday, 18 Sept 25.

When his photo book was released, the Connecticut Aviation museum provided me with an address where I could send the book to be signed.
He signed his name and drew a helicopter alongside.
We exchanged a couple of emails. A very nice man.
His book is on my shelf alongside a signed copy of his father's book.
It was fun to have a personal interaction with a helicopter pioneer.
RIP.
