Anyone got any ideas as to who's project I saw this morning on I-20 headed west here in Weatherford? I only got about a 2 second visual on it in heavy traffic. I could swear, but won't, that it was an SBD or something with a similar profile.

Fuselage was bare metal, rear cockpit appeared to be chromate green. Was sitting on the center section and had the gear installed and down. It appeared to be sitting on the gear on the trailer via a large crossbar setup.

Couldn't see any id on the truck, trailer or the aircraft as I blew past it going the other way.

Maybe it was a T-6/SNJ?

Definately not T-6/SNJ series or BT series aircraft. The distance from the rear of the back cockpit to the leading edge of the vertical fin was considerbly longer than either of those two series. Also, the total length of the cockpit area from windshield to the back edge was longer than either of those two series.

MAPS's SBD was removed last week and was going to the Midway Museum, but I don't think it was that aircraft.
