Does this constitute a personal attack on Mr. Rohr and should I yank the URL from Mr. Patterson's post?

I do think it was to some degree a shot at Rob. I voted yes, I think it is time to close this chapter of WIX and move on.

Tim

I didn't vote 'cause I'm not gonna point a finger. Like Tim said...It's time to move on.

I see no problem with Steve's posting that photo montage. He has made no derogatory comments, and he hasn't taken the wee wee at all as far as I can see. Were this my forum (and I do run a successful aviation forum) I would not moderate a thing.

In fact it could be read as being Steve's own personal memorial in tribute to Rob's Wix demise. Perhaps it was very touching that Steve wanted everyone to know an era has ended.

I'm not going to vote either way but I think everyone has had their say and voiced their opinions either pro or con regarding the suspensions. Scott, you've made a decision that you felt was in the best interest of the board so lets just move on. There is so much going on in the warbird community that we can discuss and I think our efforts would be better spent there. This is one of the best forums I've seen so lets keep it going. I enjoy participating and I really look forward to seeing pics that some of the guys send in. Move forward.

I will not vote.

I have stated that Scott has done what he thought best for WIX.

I have stated that Rob, as an adult, knew or should have known what he was doing.

I have stated my friendship for Rob, because I take friends with their qualities and defects. I am no one to judge them, since I am saddled with defects of my own, and I am the last person who should beat on a fallen man.

Agree completely, it is time to move on.

Saludos,

Tulio

I voted "No" and I have sided with Scott in his handling of this whole affair, but for Christ's sake, enough already. For the good of the forum this has been dealt with - fairly I think - by the Administrator, the man who made and continues to make this forum available to us all. Let's move on.

Interesting Steve, that you ask friends on a forum you are obviously popular on to vote with you. Rob S

I think I'm gonna support you no matter what you decide to do.

This is your 'labor of love', and if it didn't offend you, you wouldn't be asking the question. If you didn't find it offensive to begin with, we wouldn't have to go off forum to see it.

I too admin a large forum ( unrelated to aviation ) and I would have pulled it in a heartbeat.
Having said that, I again say that I will support your judgement.

Oh, and enough is enough....

Come on, guys. Have we really gotten to the point where our collective skin is SO thin that Steve's "Wanted Poster" is considered a personal attack?

Ridiculous. You guys would not last for a day in a fighter squadron if you find this kind of thing offensive or instigating. It's harmless fun -- adults poking fun at each other. I've certainly been at the receiving end of these types of jokes, myself. As they say, "if you can't stand the heat...".

Personally, I think Scott can ban whomever he wants so long as he's the guy footing the bill for WIX -- it's his sandbox. The rest of us are obliged to play by his rules if we wanna play in his sandbox. If we don't like it, we can take our ball and go home.

Scott - I'm behind whatever you decide...but to the rest of the WIXers, I'm shaking my head at your collective pussification. C'mon...we are in a warbird discussion group, not a Bible study class. We're enthusiasts of airplanes designed to kill people and break things -- let's keep that in the proper perspective.

There is noting worse on that poster than Steve has already had done to pictures of him. I.e. the morris Dancer photo and the Chinese Emperor picture on that thread.

I have to agree with Randy
