Swamp Ghost Google Earth

Wed Aug 02, 2006 7:00 am

If posted before I apologize, from the latest news letter from Pacific Wrecks...

Although 'Swamp Ghost' was salvaged, its still possible to see the bomber in situ... on Google Earth at least, with the December 1, 2002 Satalite Image presently in use. The B-17 rested from February 23, 1942 until its salvage in May 2006 at S 9° 11' 52.44 Long E 148° 39' 42.24"
