Hello,
I am trying to help a friend finding a new home for a K-ship airship gondola.
The gondola needs a total restoration, and is located in the UK (England).
I have contacted most of the large museums in the US, no luck.
Any ideas?????
I can provide more info.

Send me some pics and Info, I may know somewhere it can go. There are some smaller Naval Museums in fla that might be interested. There were a lot of K ships in FLA during WW2.
One of the bases being where the Metro Zoo now is in Miami. It had 3 VERY large wooden hangars. All burned down in a hurricane in either 45 or 46. All 3 were full of Navy and civilian airplanes, rumor has it, lots of them were burried where the elephants now roam.
I will ask my father, I know NAS FLL has a small museum.

There are 3 or 4 K ship gondolas at AMARC. The Naval Air Museum saved them from a scrapyard and has them stored out there.
