She's absolutely pure poetry in motion and at rest!!! The aeronautical designers during the late 30's and early 40's got it right, absolutely right!!

Back in the day, there was a guy named Darrel Starberg that ran a car show all over the southwest and for two years, four of my paint jobs were on tour with him. Maybe I just see way too far into the details....


I have the originals since I took the picture, and I also inspected the airplane up close while taking the pictures. I don't see the overspray/underspray around the data plate that you are talking about.

It's not a bad paint job, but it's not a 10 either.
