Last time I saw Dick Foote flying his FM2 was at TICO in March of 2000. Maybe someone else here knows the latest.

Thanks for the pics!!
I was there also and it brought back a lot of memories! I actually had a photo pass and was able to get out on the flight line. Scott Smith was flying the black Mustang "GE GE", and though the B-17 has been always associated with Bill Harrison, a part owner in 1979 was the late George Enhorning, the owner of P-51 "Passion Wagon". They were planning around the world flight with the B-17, but it never hapened and it was later donated to EAA. I believe that this may have been the first airshow the B-17 atteneded as a "Warbird" in it's re-created WWII paint scheme.
The best thing about that weekend was Friday, the day before the show, about 20 miles north, at Oxford Airport. I took the day off from my summer job and all the warbirds that were going to be at the show were on the field there(Enhorning's home base). No crowds around and they were flying all day. That was my first encounter with a live, breathing Flying Fortress. A very memorable time indeed.
Thanks again for the flood of memories!!!
Blue skies,
Jerry

The photos bring back great memories for me as well as all these aircraft attended the early CWH shows in Hamilton, Ontario. That B-17 was the first I had ever seen in person.
