Let me correct a bit of a misconception....the 2007 CAF Airsho will be at CAF HQ in Midland in late September (not the first week in October as before) while the 50th anniversary celebration will combine with the usual Summer Advisory meeting and be held in Las Vegas in July. There is not an airshow component to the 50th event in Vegas.

Thx for the clarification Old Shep! Being from the Phoenix area, I look forward to the climate change at Airsho.

Obergrafeter:

I think our "story' is straight...the difficulty in staging an airshow at Las Vegas' main airport is significant, and the manpower necessary to do both the convention and an airshow is more than is available. We'd like to do something but a full-blown airshow is impossible.

Anytime you wish to come help put on the airshow here in Midland I'll be glad to find a place for you to work!

Well, for all of the WIXers that come here for the airshow, make sure you look me up. I'll be the fat boy sitting against the hangar wall, wearing ragged clothes and unshaven, holding a can out, hoping for your loose change to help with FIFI. ;-)
