Went to go pick up my sister at the airport. On the interstate just north of the airport, just in time for the collings foundation -5 make the wide turn (WW2 carrier approach) to runway 15. Over top the car (thank god for the sunroof), got to see the gear come out and flaps deployed...............Yippeee

Will be attending the Performers Dinner tonight at the VTANG.

I should be there Saturday. I look forward to seeing some of the demos. Every so often I need a good healthy dose of Noise and JP fumes (not that I will be getting that this time). Should be a great drive up in the am too.

Jeff Larry Webster seemed impressed when he saw the Collings Corsair also. It is a sweet machine.

Off to the airshow, really wished the weather looked better, but if all else fails I'll hit two Breweries and call it a day.

I returned not too long ago from the Burlington VT airshow. Here are few shots. The weather was not kind!

I must say, Dan McQue put on a GREAT show and in my mind was the high light of the show, Strangely enough he also flying the Corsair.

I have some shot for you also, Shots that show what happens when you try to take airshow pictures from inside a city. Those darn trees, power lines and light posts keep getting in the way!

Stay tuned for some more shots of Modern Warbirds.

Seems that all I got was crappy shots too. Oh well went with a crappy weekend for weather. TBM did not fly due to a fuel boost pump. My dad gave a call to my uncle and he happened to have one at his hangar at his airstrip. So they were ready to leave that day but the weather held them up for another night.

What pics I do have, I'll try and get them on. I got a crappy one of the F-86 and a F-16 sitting together in a alert hangar.
