You guys did an awesome job on this one. Peter, I was there that day in Windsor in 1974. Trouble was, I was 7 and not much of a photographer.
Anyhow, below is one more pic of this machine in yet another paint scheme that no one has posted yet. This is from Oshkosh 1978. It wore this paint only very briefly, which was too bad, as this was the most accurate it ever looked.
Okay, this "quiz" was too easy for you guys (what with N151U being printed on the tail and all) and I have to up the ante with Steve in the game. So I'm starting a new thread right now with a different P-40. Have at it!

Oooohh, nice! I admit that this particular paint scheme has beffudled me and I didn't know which P-40 this was until now...

Great photos of the P-40.The one I remember best as coming to Oskosh in the mid 80's was owned by Bill Destafani and usually flown by Fred Sebby, one of warbirds great characters. Once Fred was sitting in the back row of the pilots briefing and got restless as the ex military officer droned on covering everything except lunar eclipse. Fred sneaked out, then we heard the Allison fire up and taxi. Not too long we heard it come back in and Fred crept back into his chair before his name was called. Fred responded, " I'm here, hanging on every word". They had it down so he could do a ride, including one roll, over the lake just nwest. and be back parked in 14 minutes! I never saw him wear anything other than cutoff jean shorts. Once at a formal dinner he had cut offs with a sewn hem. Tiger or Ed Kurdzel could give a lot more Fred stories. Tiger and I traded flights in the P-40,and the Spitfire, great pliot and fun guy, unfortunately that was also the day Dave Zueschel was lost in the F-86. Bill G

Here's Tiger's airplane at OSH 87. The pilot does appear to be wearing a sleeveless shirt ...

Fred was an interesting guy. He never drove anywhere without a lawn chair and a reflector so he could work on his tan. He always had interesting choices in female companionship too.
