The kits pop up now and again on epay. There were two kits released, actually, in different scales... 1/48 & 1/72.

The 72nd SPAD kit with the bomb has been released a few times, I believe. But if you can find the 1/48th kit it's quite
the collector's item, as it was only released once, back in the 80s. Hasegagme reboxed the old Monogram kit with a new
sprue for the 'bomb'. I wish I'd kept mine, although I did have the sprue and kit decals until recently.

Hmmm,
While I was picking up the turret parts at the salvage yard and hauling them back to Creve Coeur Airport, I was searching a dark room in the building's attic when my flashlight pinpointed a small boxed item. Through the slats, I thought I could see what looked like a NOS turbo from a B-17. I hauled it down the stairs only to discover in better lighting, a small NOS toilet in a crate. Everyone had a good laugh at my expense but I did take the toilet.

I do have a key to Eric Downing's A1-E hangar at Creve Coeur. The turret parts hangar is right around the corner from the Skyraider's. I do have some shackles. Eric is out of town for a few days. A few more beers and this might just happen this evening. :partyman:

Do it! We will be doing a walk around (like this http://www.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/NA ... round.html) of Eric's A-1 in the near future so make sure you take a picture!

Well I think if I were to hit the Lotto, that would be a cool thing to do for a Skyraider restoration!
