A-7 for sale!!

Wow, check out barnstormers! Someone in Scottsdale has a "complete" project - a supposedly ready to go flying once you've done all the work A-7!! the SLUF rules!! I wonder how exactly this one got away from the Navy.

Speaking of A-7's...several years ago I saw what was billed as the prototype A-7 two seater, YA-7H or K?, in a hanger in North Texas....the idea was rebuild to flying.

Any word on this project?

Our TA-7's had TF-30's... we could never get parts and we had about 10 in cocoons waiting for engines and the navy gave up waiting and sent them to the bone yard.

On my first cruise the air wing still had A-7s. One day the sqd ordies used one to shoot up the flight deck. Very ugly death-destruction ect.
Brought me down to earth though.
