Reno - The Air display

A few from the Air Display that filled in the gaps between races.

It’s a replica, there is a guy hanging out of the back of it filming. Its surreal!

Great photos thanks for posting. Is the Quantas airliner the one owned by actor John Travolta?

I'm pretty sure those Phantoms that were at Reno are slated to be blown up as target drones in the very near future.

Very nice MOTF! I've seen sombody standiing in the hatch in the S-38 before, but never leaning over the side!

The F-4s at Reno were the USAF Heritage jets. Yes, they are drones but they won't be blown up anytime soon. I'm really hoping that by putting them in the Heritage Flight, it will keep them alive for many years to come.

The Collings jet is a F-4D. The AF jets are QF-4Es. They also have a few QF-4Gs but they aren't in the Heritage Flight.
