Well, I finally broke down did it. I've been browsing this site for the last several months and finally registered! :D

I am not a pilot nor am I a Veteran. However, I have had a love of warbirds for the last several years, and I currently volunteer at The M.A.P.S. Air Museum. There I work as a Tour Guide, work on the Line Crew at the Akron Air Show (last 3 years), and I also work on our F-4S Phantom.

I am currently a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Akron, so hopefully WIX will not distract me from my studies too much. Although it sure makes a nice study break. So, given that I am a college student, I am very envious of you who travel to different air shows and museums across the country, but am very appreciative for the pictures you post! :D I am lucky enough that my lovely fiance, Erica (who is into sportscars), now also enjoys my love of warbirds and I can't imagine going to another air show without her! 8)

Below are a few pictures of the Phantom I work on, as well as my fiance (and air show companion  ) and me.

You picked out some very nice pictures to post, thanks for sharing. I'm envious of the Black Widow, must be an awesome plane to see in person, and the Phantom II looks like a fun project.

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

Come on... you can't even compare something as bad at Transport Phenomena to something as great as warbirds!
(I'm hearing from upperclassmen that in this class an "A" is a 60%!   )
