Thats up near the private aircraft end of the field. A few years ago there was a PBY parked there. Could that be what your mistaking for an Albatross? There was also an F-100 there in that area during my visit.

How about the Airburst Range near Pueblo, CO.

There used to be a couple of beaten up F-105 and OV-1 there but recently these have appeared.....

38°27'0.04"N 104°53'27.22"W

and

38°26'53.08"N 104°53'42.89"W

I think that some F-105s are still extant here

38°26'39.47"N 104°52'43.94"W

Any body have a list of the airframes on display at Fallon NAS and their IDs?

Excuse the cut and paste from the 2025 edition of "USA Military Out of Service".

Pole-mounted at the main gate on Churchill Avenue are:
132261 AH/500 Douglas AD-4B VA-152 Apr00 Mar25
142100 01 Douglas A-4B Oct88 Mar25
156638 /207 Rockwell RA-5C RVAH-6 Apr99 Mar25
154420 00 LTV A-7B Strike Oct89 Mar25
158272 7H/02 Bell HH-1N May09 Mar25
There is a further collection of aircraft on base in and around the Air Power Park opposite the NSAWC. Some can be seen from outside by continuing south past the gate.
155025 NF/401 Douglas A-4F VA-94 Oct96 Apr23
155627 NE/500 Grumman A-6E VA-145 Oct95 Apr23
158810 AJ/502 Grumman EA-6B VAQ-134 Oct13 Apr23
156734 NK/300 LTV NA-7C VA-97 Sep98 Apr23

151014 NK/451 McD F-4N VF-154 151510 (was marked 155800) Apr97 Apr23
160796 AF/13 Northrop F-5E VFC-13 May07 Apr23
145449 AH/107 Vought DF-8L VF-111 Sep98 Apr23
159626 NE/201 Grumman F-14A VF-2 Oct94 Apr23
163576 Lockheed F-16N Jul95 Apr23
161708 NK/300 Boeing F/A-18A VFA-22 Aug96 Apr23
29371 FU-371 NA F-86F (was marked 24584) Apr98 Apr23
60-3593 313 Bell UH-1B camo c/s Oct98 Apr23
Sikorsky HH-60H due
160571 AG/700 Lockheed S-3B VS-31 Oct07 Apr23
3964 Mikoyan MiG-21bis ex Hungary, l/n 2024 Oct04 Apr23
(20+23) 353 red Mikoyan MiG-23ML Oct99 Apr23
15 blue Mikoyan MiG-29 ex Moldova, l/n 3128 Oct02 Apr23
(1614) 546 red WSK Lim-2 (MiG-15) Soviet c/s, ex Poland, c/n 1B016-14 Apr98 Apr23
(1319) 3020 red WSK Lim-5 (MiG-17) N Korean c/s, ex Poland, c/n 1C-1319 Apr98 Apr23
There is a possibility that the F-4 is in fact F-4B 148408, which used to be at Miramar. The F-86 is listed on the NNAM inventory as 1L402 and presumably came from the compound at China Lake. As usual, modex and squadron marks change regularly as different squadrons restore the aircraft. The Lim-2 is painted with false c/n 0615318.
