What is the status of your F-105B, regarding getting it transported to the museum?

The fuselage is at the museum. I believe the wings are waiting on the funds to be transported up.

The wings might be brought up within the next couple of days or so. A crew is going down to try and get everything else for the other planes such as the wings for the F-101, F-102, and hopfully the F-105 as well. (at least that was what the word was last week!)

I'm merely curious. Can any of you explain the process the MAPS museum went through to get permission, to acquire the F-105 for the MAPS collection, from the NMUSAF?

MAPS is also getting a F-86 and T-37 from the same area.
