Whatever their reserve is...do I want to pay that and then another $10k to have it brought to the US. I think not.

This might be a good project, it has the same wing area as a Spitfire, about 1/3 the weight and power. Before I would buy only potential, I'd want to contract seller to finish it, fly it, then you've got somethng more than an art object.

That is a genuine Spitfire seat albeit that the back seems to have an excess of repair filler.
That alone in the UK would fetch several times the current bid price.
