Sorry I have been MIA lately guys and gals. I am going through a terrible divorce and my wife stole my PC and just about everything else I own, so I have been without a PC except for work since Sept. 15th.
Anyways, I am fine, but just wanted to let you know, I am now back online and able to update and get e-mails now!
Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear it, Paul.
It truly is sad when people feel they have to be so selfish--so many other people wind up getting hurt along the way.

Very sorry to hear this Paul. I have been down that road myself. You hang in there.

Paul:
I went through the same thing 3 years ago. When she left she took it all. I mean EVERYTHING. I was lucky to have clothes left. She even took all my HS and College diplomas. She decided that all the pictues I had taken in my life (100,000+ aviation pics over 30 years should be hers). I got a few back, but it hurt when I had to sell my AS350 helicopter to help pay her off.
For the record, it wasn't my fault, she was having several affairs, I did get the house, reasonable visition rights to my son, etc.... But she haled off about everything that wasn't nailed down.
I understand how you feel.

Paul -
wish you all the best - and that you always find the right words at the right time.....
my divorce was 5 years ago - and some experiences return to haunt me from time to time -
on the other hand, such a separation brings a lot of new opportunities and space for fulfilling ventures in your life
hang in there - you'll be a better man when it's over.
Warmest regards
Martin

Hang in there Paul. There's a reason why divorces are so expensive for men...because they're worth every penny of it once they're complete!!
I've been fortunate in the fact that I've (not yet) had to go through that hell with my wife of 15 years (knock on wood). Unfortunately I can't say the same thing for many of our friends and family, with nearly all of them having gone through at least one divorce.

i'm part of the divorce fraternity too, 12 years ago. keep your chin up paul, i'm testimony that it does get better, & i thought i was gonna seriously die going through it. i had my 3 kids, my stock shares in the family business & my house at stake. the stress caused me to lose 40 lbs in under 6 months. i wish you all the best, & you will have it in time i promise you!!!

take care, tom

Not to be snide or anything... but it isn't all sunshine and light for those of us who are not men, either (and mine was very expensive for me, not so much for him). It does tend to make one gun-shy, tho.

And yes, it does get better. Just don't let it make you bitter.

Sorry if I offended you with that posting.

The joke is one that I've heard mentioned by many a male friend/family member of mine when it comes to cleansing themselves of a bad marriage (I guess the wife could use the joke as well depending on the circumstance).
You're absolutely right though...a divorce can be nasty for either side. Unfortuantely, the one's my wife and I have witnessed with family/friends have been exceptionally bitter and nasty, with a couple of them whipping out the "molestation" trump card on the ex-husband because she wasn't getting what she wanted in the divorce or wanted him out of the kids lives.
After witnessing some of these knock down, drag out, bitter divorces I just thank my lucky stars that I have such a wonderful marriage.

It is very hard to offend me

I would rather joke about the fact she took everything, including my toothbrush when she left, then to think about it!
I just wanted to thank you all for your kind notes. It really means a lot, and since this all happened, I have been more focused on my children, therfore, not really on here too much until I get settled.
YES - When I am finally free of my chains ( ex ) I will be spending more time focusing on of couse my children first, and then my passion - AVIATION!
I look on the brighter things in life, not dwell on the past - it happend for a reason, gods-will. Maybe he wanted me to be a better person, because that is what I am when I am not around my ex-wife.
Anyways, I could rant all night. I love being a part of this group and I love my children and airplanes.
Thanks for everyones support and if you DO have a good joke or bad story, share them with me, e-mail or PM me, I would rather laugh then cry anyday!
