ID gauge help

I need some help in finding out what type of aircraft used this type of tach

Looks like it is for a piece of stationary ground equipment like a generator. Doesn't look like it has a fine enough range markings for an aircraft tachometer.

looks to be radium dialed. it's in good shape too.
