Small series made in canada on CBC.
http://www.cbc.ca/aboveandbeyond/
Based around the creation of Ferry Command in WW2.
Lot's of info on the WEB site but does anyone knows:
- Most Hudson's are either CGI's or movie props. One seems quite real however used in ground sequences. Which AC is this ?
- Where was this filmed ? Quite a lot of vintage WW2 hangars.
Not bad to listen at all.

Above and Beyond…Sounds like the movie about Paul Tibbets and the Enola Gay staring Robert Taylor. For the record Gen. Tibbets enjoyed the way he was portrayed and is a favorite movie of his.

The "realistic" Hudson is, I'm guessing, the Gander example that sat atop a cobblestone cairn/pylon for many years before being removed and restored for museum display. It's an ex-aerial survey bird but wears 1941 RAF Lend-Lease Hudson markings. Only other Hudson I know of in Canada is the fuselage at the Armdale (Halifax) museum.

Gander when the Hudson is around and probably Hamilton (the BT-67 was filmed at Hamilton) and some other places in Ontario.
