Juutilainen possibly scored also with several other planes like Fokker D.XXI.

Ltn. Puhakka scored with Fiat G-50 / Me-109 around 40 kills maybe more.
Wind scored about same amount alone with a Brewster.

A little respect is in order it's Harry.
First wartime CO of the 309th FS 31st FG took the sqd to England and flew Spit Vs and while in the UK claimed 1 JU-88 probably destroyed and 2 FW-190 has damaged the second being over Dieppe. After the 31st went to N. Africa Thyng claimed a French D520, 3 ME-109s and 1 FW-190 confirmed.
In Aug 1945 has CO of the 413th FG flying P-47Ns he claimed a Oscar has probably destroyed.
During the Korean War he commanded the 4th FIW and was credited with 5 MIGs destroyed and 4 damaged to become 1 of 6 American aces in both WWII & Korean. He is also famous for making claimed over German, French, Japanese & Chinese aircraft during his career. He received 3 Silvers Stars, Legion of Merit, 3 DFCs, 23 Air Medals, Purple Heart & Croix de Guerre. He retired has a B/G and founded and served has president of Daniel Webster College in New Hampshire.

As to a list of fighter pilots that scored in two or more ships to make ace - many future aces who started in 8th AF in fall of 43 probably got at least one in a P-47 or 38 before moving on to 51's.. guys like Whisner, Preddy, Thornell from 352nd; Koraleski, Myers, Stewart, Elder from 355th, Blakeslee (scored in Spits, 47's and 51's), Goodson (5 or more in both P-47 and 51), Gentile, Godfrey, Hofer of the 4th, etc, etc

Robin Olds had 5 in 38's, 8 in 51's, 4 in F4's in VietNam (many who flew with him say he got the fifth but did not report because he wanted to stay),

Jack as I recall Landers had 6 on 40's, 4 in P-38's and 4.5 in P-51's? so close to having 5 in each but only on P-40.

What about Francis (Gabby) Gabreski, the leading ace in the European Theater who had 28 aerial kills flying P-47's with the 56th F.G.

Then, in Korea he had 6.5 kills flying F-86's.

Also, like Pat Pattle, Bill 'Cherry' Vale also achievd 'ace' status on both the Gladiator and Hurricane, and John 'Jack' Frost achieved 'ace' status on the Hurricane and P-40 Tomahawk.
