That's what I thought. I thought the ramp looked familiar. I saw this bird right when the Stars and Stripes wing first acquired it. I believe it was the last of the Frederick, Maryland Airshows in 2003 when they had a "TBM Reunion" in honor of it and six (?) other TBMs were there.
Back in the mid-90s, the Frederick show was a great show in terms of warbird attendance. One year they had 5 B-17s in attendance. It started going downhill after that and seemed to become more of an equipment show as the encampments kept getting more elaborate each year.
Does the Stars and Stripes wing have a website again? There used to be one that kept pictures of the progress, but, last time I check, it had been taken down.
