fairey swordfish on pontoons??

fairey swordfish on pontoons??

strumming through an aviation collectables catalog i came across a model of the swordfish on pontoons that operated from the battleship hms malaya in 1940. i've never seen a stringbag on pontoons!!! any pics??? jack cook, are you out their??? any record of service in this configuration???

Since the arrival of the Swordfish at Vintage Wings I have spoken to a few veterans that remember them on floats.

Tamiya makes a beautiful 1/48 scale model of the Swordfish on floats.
