Mike,
I wasn't able to pull up the A-10 pic, but there is a squadron of them stationed there (Pennsylvania Air Guard Unit). The last time I saw them last summer, they were the light gray, low contrast scheme many of our fighters are painted these days.
The DVHAA is responsible for the collection of historical aircraft.

Mike;
A-10?
A-10 it is! (compare it to the ones on the ramp nearby)
Helicopter?:
H-43 Huskie (I believe, as the rotors are off-set)
That is the display area for the aircraft. I haven't been there in aboout 20 years, but it was something to see those raw Japanese and German (and teh US ones too!)aircraft outside on roadside display. A friend of mine, LCmdr. Dave Ascher, was the one who gathered them up for display back in the late 40's. He passed away recently, but had visited the museum and spoke to them about when he put the original display together. Dave skied regularly well into his 80's.
Great guy and we miss him around here.

Thanks for checking Jeff. The trick is to click the link, then click on the "Satellite" button, then zoom in as close as you can go.
Just FYI.

Thanks Jerry! I saw a website refer to the collection as belonging to the "Delaware Valley Historical Aircraft Association". Is that correct? Or do they belong to the air station?
Is there a T-37 in the area?
I have updated the Penn Locator at...

Anyone been to Northampton, PA? Is there an F-14 displayed in the area?

Mike,
sorry i didn't see this sooner. that is indeed an A-10 in there, it's done up in the PA ANG 103rd FS colors. there is also an A-37 in PA ANG markings around the corner from that as well. not sure of that helicopter you had there, but there are a few on the base. There's the fuselage of an A-7 corsair (pretty sure) there behind a Tracker on the south end of the base close to 611.
pm me if you need some help with anything else around there. i'm 5 minutes from the base.
and oh yeah, never heard of a F-14 in northhampton. maybe one day i'm not busy i'll take a ride, you have any more info on it?

No more info than the approximate location given in the Locator. I got that info from a set of Google Earth placemarks on the web. I have not been able to confirm, so don't go out of your way to find it unless you like doing that sort of thing.

It is a Vought Chance F-8 Crusader that was previously on display at NADC Warminster or NAS JOHNSVILLE to us old timers.

Mike,
Concerning your PA listings,
NAS Willow Grove and NADC Warminster, previously NAS Johnsville are not the same place. NADC Warminster is located about five miles east on the google map of Willow Grove. Warminster assets were moved to Pax River and closed years ago, as you can see the developement in the satellite view. There are no longer any planes displayed at Warminster.
Also some trivia concerning your first PA listing, the airport is called Queen City Airport (the Allentown airport is further north) and the facility located just west of the runway is the Mack Trucks test track.

Thanks! I made the corrections and added the Queen City name to the first listing.
