The main book I opened this summer was my checkbook to pay for my main gear overhaul; something I think many warbird owners can identify with. And they say drugs are addicting!

These replies are very interesting and a lot more entertaining than I expected.

Sorry about your checkbook use, Bill.

Thank you BDK!!! Seeing that is one of the few times I've laughed all week. I appreciate it, and I would love to see that one in the mail to me ASAP!

For most things about warbirds.
Warbirds directory (a.k.a. "the bible") Vol. 1 and 4.

For air racing questions.
Gentlemen, you have a race.
The Reed Kinert volumes.
Thomson Trophy Racers.

Add to that internet forums and our old friend Google.

any book with info relating to instruments, flight gear, memorabilia. i'm a firm believer in sparing no expense for 1st class reference material. my wife thinks i'm nuts, but my expensive books have paid major dividends in years past researching purchases, my authored magazine articles etc. you get what you pay for!!!
