Excellent, Jack! Thanks for sharing such magnificent shots. The last one is a great one from an artist's point of view and actually brings back memories of a beauty of a colour movie, starring Edmund O'Brien, called...........grrrrrr....somebody help an old man jog his memory!

Jack, once again, many-many thanks for sharing your treasure trove.
Every time you (and others) post pictures of the pilots, aircrew and groundcrew "back in the day" I am pointedly reminded these common citizens did very uncommon actions in the name of our liberty.
I think for the most part, the WWII USAAF training program did a good job of identifying/classifying and training very young men to be so effective as combat pilots & aircrew. I sincerely doubt that I would have measured up at that young age, as obviously Captain Ray Dauplin did.

Thanks Jack for the great photos. One question, does anybody have pictures from the CBI? The few I have from Pop are very limited. Love to see anybody's collection or single picture, or anything...
