This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

No. The last Goodyear Corsair in the possession of Goodyear was donated to the USMC in the 1970s. Period. No matter what the wishful thinking is, there isn't another one. I'm not sure why the rumor of "there is another Corsair at the Airdock" won't die.

Even if they were holding out - If they owned it wouldn't it be there right to do with it as they please.
While I agree with Tom that the motives would suck and it would be bad PR I realize that a lot of warbirds that exist because of shameless oppurtunists that did all the work on restoration, including dumping in a lot there own money into their recovery with the intent of turning a profit.
Welcome to America folks-

I thought I explained that I knew what happened to the "mystery corsair" in this thread. I was simply asking about the fact that this corsair seems to have been in two different places. I was wondering if it was this fact that might have caused the mystery--instead of two corsairs and one being missing, there was only one corsair that was moved between two different places
