Okay, Scott, this question has probably been asked and answered many times, but I just posted my 25th message and went from Corporal (two hooks) to Lance Corporal (one hook). Where I come from, that's a step backwards! Que pasa!?

Refried Beans

Those would be a good ranking system. I'm usually right about these things. :D

When I was instructing, we gave our students Navy call signs and Navy Rank. It kept them coming back as nobody wants to be a Jr grade...

Not to throw ice water on this....
The "rankings" are, IMHO, a minor "ego trip". Yes, they're somewhat interesting but as they're a reflection of how many posts one has, why have a number count AND a "ranking"? This isn't a criticism of the system, just my take on it.
After all, I AM a Group Captain so my opinion SHOULD count for something. :shock: :wink:

Mudge the impressive :lol:

ps. I don't understand the Brit ranking system anyway. :roll:
