I know that 2 of the 4 Hawkins & Powers Privateers were sold recently but what is the status of the the 2 that remained behind after the auction?

As far as I know they are sitting in Greybull, word is they belong to Gene Powers. Who knows what he'll do with them.

There are 3 left at Greybull still.

The silver ones are owned by Gene Powers and Dan Hawkins - neither was up for sale in the auction - both are flyable.

The 3rd (the orange stripped one) is owned by Duane Powers and is unlikely to fly again.

Sad news to here about the Wonder Bread plane! (aka: 121)
I sure would love to see one restored to their former Coast Guard glory and flown around to airshows.

121 is the least likey to fly as she needs a lot of work (doesn't mean she wont if the money is spent of course)

the other two have been maintained on a regualr basis - apparently Gene and Dan couldn't bear to sell them.

I have a load of photos from last month but can share yet as they are being published 1st

What else is up there still? Have the scrappers cleaned the place out?

The Lone Star Flight Museum is restoring one to back to WWII PB4Y-2 status that will fly. It originally came from H&P.

I thought Lone Star's airplane used to belong Sergio and Woody from T&G aviation. I have seen the progress pictures and it is looking good.

Any parts piles still left up there? I'm looking for some P-2V crew seats to restore and add to the hangar lounge.

plently of P2's in sorry states - most if not all the ones left will not fly out - I'm sure there are seats in some of them

there are not as many piles as there used to be

Thanks, I guess I'll have to tell the pilots we need to go exercise the Caravan and make a trip up that way.
