You're the best, Bear!

I need to start taking a collection for a Bearcat purchase!

If anyone has any ball turet parts out there...feel free to place them under my tree on Christmas Eve! I've spent so much money on this little project of mine so far that I have to hide parts from the Mrs.

http://www.sportys.com/acb/showdetl.cfm ... uct_ID=159Does it look decent, too spendy for what it is? Does anyone know a better place to get one?! Help!
Thanks!
You can get A-2's just about anywhere but be careful of cheap knock-offs. Some of the good quality ones can run you $400!
Are you going to have a nude "nose art" painted on the back?
John
It was a $200 jacket, and I suppose it sounds dumb, but I figured maybe at that price it was decent quality?? I dunno... I definitely want something painted on the back. I want to find a cool bomber group to learn a lot about and then do their noseart...

The Bearcat is definitely worthy of a collection fund.
Bear, that's very nice of you. If we're requesting cars, I'd like a '66 Ford Mustang convertable... blue or red. Thanks!

Just leave them in your trunk & every once in a while bring in a part -- if anything is asked of you, you just say "this old thing, oh no, I've had this forever!"

P.S. Trae, you have an "in" with it being your grandfathers bomber group... I have to search one out all on my own.

It's funny you said that... I was going to ask you what you thought about the Thunderbird... but I didn't want to step on any toes... I thought since that was the first warbird I ever got to go into that might be kinda cool, first airshow, etc... but I didn't know what Gene might think of that. I think you should ask him about it... see if he's willing.
