The Wyvern mission was two fold, a torpedo and daylight fighter, a torpedo-fighter!.

Max Speed: 383 mph at sea level
Climb: 2,350 ft/min at sea level
Service Ceiling: 28,000 ft
Range: 904 miles

It's combat record wasn't that brilliant to say the least, only 79 sorties in the Suez campaign with two aircraft lost. 127 were built and they were only in service for just under five years. All but one were scrapped or destroyed in accidents.

Glad it is a little more viewer friendly now. When I saw it in '96 you had to look at it through a window!

They were used for ground attack, being armed with 4 20mm cannon and 16 rockets or 3 1000 lb bombs.

Kinda makes a 4360 look simple in comparison. Neat looking plane though.
