I guess some of you have an interest in other modes of transport as well so I thought I'd post my recent lil adventure to the Russian border!! :)

I managed to track down a particular motorcycle a B.S.A V twin that I've fantasized about since I was a kid! They are somewhat rare nowadays.. especially since most (if not all) have ended up in museum or in private collection. The whole thing went pretty well but not according to plan. The man who supposedly had the bike didn't have it and we ended up driving for hours to get to the place where it was and boy oh boy.. did the real owner have some seriously nice stuff lined up at his place.

For now with the help of the seller I've moved the motorcycle to a safer location and shipping to the U.K is being arranged. As you can see I need a whole lot of parts to complete it and it'll probably be at least another year to get them all together. hows that for a comparison to a warbird restorations :)

Yikes! Looks like you have a bit of work ahead of you. Sometimes the hunt is the most interesting part.
