Hi all,
I have been viewing this site for awhile, and love it!
But, my first love is my cars, and those being the Pontiac Trans Am.
However, I love Military Aircraft, and well as all thing military.
So, why not combine the two?
I did, and have a few pictures to post.
Image
This is my 1970 Trans Am with the P-51 Bob Hoover flew for a few years.
I believe Evergreen owned it. Taken at Torrance, Calofornia.
Image
Another show of the two. Taken at Torrance, California.
Image
My 1970 Trans Am with a T-28, who I don't know who owns it. Taken at Torrance, california.

Not sure if anyone would like to view this stuff, but I do enjoy both.
Enjoy,

George 8)

OK,
I didn't know how many pictures will work in a post.
Here's a few more:
Image
My 1981 Turbo Trans Am (can you see that it's modified?) and a T-28 that Bob Hoover flew. Evergreen owned it. Taken at Torrance, California.
Image
My 1979 Trans Am convertible (converted aftermarket) and a F-4
Taken at Point Mugu, California.
Image
My pride and joy, a 1989 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am with a F-4.
Taken at Point Mugu, California.
Image
Another view of both. Taken at Point Mugu, California.
Just so you know. I had him till the fence!

Oh ya, why my name.
Image
On my 1970 Trans Am.

Hope you enjoy, and don't mind seeing some cars with these aircraft.

I should be around tomorrow, give me a call if you want. :D

Are the black and white F-4 at Point Mugu the same plane? Just a different paint scheme I'd guess.

Yep!
The same aircraft.
Just a few years apart.
I have so many shots, I just got to dig them out, scan them, and post them.
I've got tons of them with Lisa in the pilot's seat of all kinds of aircraft.
I'll call tomorrow.

not a car fan, but the 79 was always my favorite year for the trans am, maybe i'm sentimental....... that's when i graduated high school too, but i like the lines on that model year. an old dumb senior year high school ditty..... beer, pot, sex, wine, were the class of 79!!!.... now i'm bald, gray, with a middle age spread & ready for the glue factory!! :Hangman:

Thanks for the welcome guys.
You all have some really nice rides!
Now, Chris, tell me more about that car! Looks like a '70-'73 Firebird.
How much?
The owner can keep the plates.

I wan't sure where to put this.

This one is on the warbird sbject, so I'm sure it's fine here.
I just thought I'd take your idea and run with it on the other board. Welcome to WIX............
