The modifiers failed to properly record the military serial numbers of the aircraft modified however they did, to some extent, retain the factory cum numbers. Is it possible your associates might help us identify the military serials for the following list?

N63227 was the registration number of the Val that crashed during the film ,on January 13.1969,taking the life of the pilot Guy Thomas Strong. The crash was attributed to a high speed stall while practicing dive bombing runs for the film.
Prior to the beginning of the filming the the Air Operations Coordinator of the film, Jack D. Canary, crashed while on approach to the airport at Summit Station, Pennsylvania, August 19, 1868 while flying the BT-15 registered as N355H. He was attempting a landing in obscured visability when the aircraft struck trees, crashed and burned. Canary died on Agust 23, 1968, as a result of complications from the burns received in the crash.
I regret I can not furnish you the serial number or military number of either of the aircraft.
